Crime Spree in Aversa: 40-Year-Old Man Arrested for Multiple Thefts

A 40-year-old man from Aversa has been arrested by the Carabinieri because he is accused of committing numerous thefts in the city center during January and February, becoming the nightmare of women, motorists, and shopkeepers. The man was identified, thanks to witnesses and public and private surveillance cameras, as the perpetrator of at least three purse-snatchings against women, committed from his scooter in the streets of the center and in broad daylight; another accusation is having hit several parked cars, taking possession of the objects inside, and stealing a smartphone in a bicycle shop. The investigations that led to the identification and arrest of the 40-year-old were coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of North Naples.
