Don Luigi Merola's car was damaged in Naples. The priest himself, who years ago was targeted by the Camorra for speaking out after the death of the fourteen-year-old Annalisa Durante, reported the news.
Broken windows and damage to the flashing lights in the photo published on the Facebook page of his foundation 'A voce d’e creature'.
The car is the one the priest is usually escorted in by a security officer.
"Unfortunately, it is not the first time... but we do not give up, we do not stop and continue to work for the children of our city," commented Don Merola. "Meanwhile, we have received news that the confiscated property hosting our foundation has been pardoned, and the Municipality has amended its regulations, allowing us to stay here for another twenty years. But evidently, the Camorra wants to evict us".
