Daring Daylight Robbery in Naples Leads to Arrest

In the late afternoon of yesterday, the Hawks of the Mobile Squad, during their specially prepared services, while passing in Corso Umberto I, noticed a man on foot following another when, at the intersection with Via San Candida, he caught up with him and violently snatched the cellphone from his hands and, despite the victim's resistance, succeeded in his intent before fleeing. The policemen, who noticed the scene, immediately pursued him, both on foot and with the service car, not without difficulty and after a struggle, arrived in Vico Settimo Duchesca, they caught and stopped him with the support of the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station. The suspect, later identified as a 27-year-old Moroccan, during the escape got rid of the stolen cellphone shortly before, but, the latter, was recovered by the operators and, therefore, the 27-year-old was arrested for improper robbery and injuries.
