The demolitions of the Sails in Scampia will start by the end of February, while in Taverna del Ferro, the demolition appointment is for next week.
"Finally we will achieve a historic result", said the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, "because being able to redevelop these two neighborhoods really means changing two important parts of the city."
The two projects will run in parallel. It's a very important commitment and, in some respects, the work in Scampia is even bigger and more complicated than that in Taverna del Ferro", he concluded.
