Domestic Abuse Arrest in Parete: Woman and Child Involved

A 39-year-old man from Parete was arrested for domestic abuse after he slapped his partner on the evening of Saturday, April 20th. The victim herself requested the intervention of the carabinieri. When the carabinieri arrived at the home, they found the woman, visibly distressed, waiting for them at the front door. Her minor daughter was also with her. The woman told the military that she had fled the house after her partner, with whom she cohabits, had slapped her for the umpteenth time. Once reached at home, the man, in an evident state of alcoholic intoxication, admitted to having assaulted the woman without apparent reason. Initially, the man appeared calm and cooperative, but then became aggressive to the point of tearing and throwing his identification document at the military, which had been requested of him. Arrested, he was taken to the Santa Maria Capa Vetere prison.
