Doped, Robbed, and Left Unconscious: A Crime Spree at Naples Train Station

They ask for information at the station, they are offered a drink, but in reality they are drugged, robbed even of their shoes, and left on the ground unconscious. It happened at the Naples railway station. The personnel of the Campania Railway Police have executed an order from the GIP of the Naples Court applying the precautionary measure of custody in jail against two individuals of Algerian nationality. The recipients of the precautionary measure are accused of the crimes of aggravated robbery and injuries in concert with each other, consisting in the fraudulent administration to three Egyptian boys of narcotic substances diluted in a drink, in order to place them in a state of incapacity to understand and to act in order to steal all their personal effects. Last September 23 - a note signed by the prosecutor Nicola Gratteri reads - three Egyptian boys were at the Naples Central Station and, having met B.R. and A.H., having asked them for information on how to get to Piazza Bellini, the Algerians made themselves available to accompany them, providing them with a drink as a gesture of cordial hospitality. The three Egyptians, after drinking the offered beverage, would have begun to feel signs of dizziness and then lost consciousness and wake up after hours, robbed of everything they had: wallets, backpacks of high fashion brands, cell phones, earphones, and even their shoes. The investigations of the railway police, coordinated by the Naples Prosecutor's Office, have allowed to reconstruct the entire incident and trace back to the two alleged authors of the robbery.
