Drug and Cellphones Smuggling into Carinola Prison: 14 Arrests

They would have introduced drugs and cellphones into the prison of Carinola, in Caserta, the people subject to the precautionary measures issued by the judge of the court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere and notified from the early hours of the morning by the carabinieri of the company of Capua, in collaboration with the territorial units, in the provinces of Naples, Avellino, Foggia, Frosinone, Rome and Turin. The investigations that led to the issuance of the custody orders were coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere; the suspects were charged with the crimes of possession and trafficking of narcotic substances and unauthorized access to devices suitable for communication.
