Drug Arrest in Somma Vesuviana: Two Youngsters Caught

The Carabinieri of the Somma Vesuviana station have arrested a 19-year-old local, previously unrecorded by police, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, and reported a 17-year-old for the same crime. A military officer off-duty noticed the pair of youngsters moving by car along via Don Minzoni. They traveled the same stretch multiple times, and for the Carabiniere something was off. He followed them to keep an eye on them, asking for support from the operational center. Thanks to the collaboration of the military from the station, the car was stopped. The two were found in possession of 21 doses of cocaine and 395 euros in cash, considered illicit proceeds. The 19-year-old was placed under house arrest, while the minor was handed back to his parents.
