The Carabinieri of the Marano mobile section have arrested Nicola D’Angelo, a 19-year-old already subjected to the obligation of presenting himself to the judicial police, and an 18-year-old with no previous records, for drug possession with the intent to distribute. The 19-year-old was driving a car, despite never having obtained a license. The younger one was sitting on the passenger side.
They were driving down Via Arno when the Carabinieri stopped them. In the pockets of the 18-year-old, several sticks of hashish were found, with more hidden in the vehicle. In total, 52 grams of the substance were seized, leading to the arrest of both individuals. They are now in a holding cell, awaiting summary judgment.
Meanwhile, the Carabinieri of the operational section of the same company have arrested another 18-year-old with no previous records. Again, the issue was drugs, but in this case, the young man was caught exchanging a dose of crack for money. He had 26 doses of cocaine and six of crack on him, along with 386 euros in cash, believed to be illicit proceeds. The eighteen-year-old has been taken to jail, also facing a penalty for driving without a license.
