Drug Bust in Decumani District, Naples

This morning, the officers of the Decumani police station, as part of the services set up for this purpose, while passing through Santa Maria delle Grazie a Loreto street, noticed a man who, with a wary attitude, was leaving a building, heading towards Garibaldi square. The observation service carried out by the police found a positive outcome since the aforementioned, shortly thereafter, was checked by the operators in Arnaldo Lucci street and found in possession of a package of heroin weighing about 165 grams, two cell phones, 70 euros and a bunch of keys. Moreover, having good reason to believe that there could be further elements in relation to the facts for which proceedings were underway, the police extended the control activity at the suspect's home where they found two precision scales, various material for packaging drugs and a bottle of methadone belonging to a third party. Therefore, the man, identified as a 61-year-old Tunisian with a police record, was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics and also reported for receiving stolen goods.
