Drug Bust in Ischia: Man Arrested with Hashish and Counterfeit Watches

Yesterday, the officers of the Ischia Police Station, during the services specifically arranged, checked a subject aboard a minivan on Pendio del Gelso street, in the municipality of Barano d'Ischia, inside which they found a box containing 10 bars of hashish weighing a total of about one kilogram. Subsequently, as there was reasonable ground to believe that there could be further elements regarding the facts under investigation, the operators extended the control activity to the suspect's residence where they found 2 watches of faithful reproduction of a well-known brand. For these reasons, a 30-year-old of Macedonian nationality, was arrested for illegal possession of narcotic substances as well as reported for receiving stolen goods.
