Drug Bust in Naples: Police Arrest and Seize Crack Cocaine

Yesterday morning, officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia police station, during their patrol, noticed a person who, after receiving a banknote, handed something over to another individual while passing through Rosaroll street at the corner of vico S. Caterina a Formiello. The police promptly intervened to stop the criminal activity, detaining both the buyer, found in possession of 4 wraps of crack, and the suspect, found in possession of 50 euros, divided into various denominations, clearly the proceeds of criminal activity. For these reasons, the suspect, identified as an 18-year-old Romanian with a criminal record, including specific offenses, was arrested for illegal possession and distribution of narcotics; meanwhile, the buyer was administratively fined for possession of narcotics for personal use.
