Drug Bust in San Giorgio a Cremano Leads to Arrests and Seizures

Yesterday afternoon, officers from the San Giorgio a Cremano Police Station, as part of the services duly set up, while passing through Troisi Square in San Giorgio a Cremano, noticed a person who, acting cautiously, approached two young individuals from whom he received something in exchange for a banknote. The officers promptly intervened to stop the criminal process by detaining both the buyer, who was found in possession of a hashish package and a handmade cigarette of the 'joint' type, and the suspects, identified as a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old from San Giorgio a Cremano, the latter found in possession of nine hashish packages weighing about 21 grams and 20 euros, clear proceeds of the criminal activity. Moreover, having good reason to believe that there could be further elements related to the facts being processed, the police extended their control activity to the homes of the suspects and, indeed, their investigative intuition was positively confirmed as they found, in the apartment of the 16-year-old, a precision scale, various packaging materials, and a kitchen knife with the blade soaked in a narcotic substance while, in the apartment of the 17-year-old, the officers found a hashish package, various packaging materials, a knife with a blade soaked in a narcotic substance. Therefore, the 16-year-old was arrested for illegal possession and distribution of narcotic substances; the 17-year-old, on the other hand, was reported for illegal possession of a narcotic substance, while the buyer was administratively sanctioned for possession of narcotics for personal use.
