Drug Bust in Torre del Greco Leads to Arrest of 41-Year-Old Man

The Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco company have arrested Raffaele Guarino, a 41-year-old from San Giorgio a Cremano already known to law enforcement, for possession of drugs with the intent to distribute. During a house search, the military found 102 doses of cocaine, 30 hashish sticks, and various materials for packaging the drug. Part of the drug was hidden among the tiles of an external canopy to a small access courtyard. In the house, there was also a telescopic baton and an ancient Sant'Etienne Manufacture muzzle-loading rifle. Guarino has been placed under house arrest, awaiting trial. The arrest is part of the control services in the municipality of San Giorgio A Cremano and has been increased to respond to the security demands invoked by the citizens.
