Last night, officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia police station, while passing through vico Cappella at Ponte Nuovo at the corner with vico Santa Caterina a Formiello, noticed a man on a scooter talking to a person.
The observation service carried out by the police had a positive outcome when the driver, after extracting something from the pouch he was carrying at his waist, handed it over in exchange for money to the person he was talking to; at that moment, the suspect, noticing the presence of the officers, tried to flee to evade the control.
The operators, promptly intervening, stopped the subject finding him in possession of 31 bars of hashish weighing approximately 105 grams and 30 euros, while the buyer managed to lose his traces.
Therefore, the suspect, identified as a 27-year-old Moroccan with a police record and irregular on the national territory, was arrested for illegal detention and sale of drugs and reported for illegal entry and stay in the territory of the State.
