Last night, officers from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, while patrolling the area, noticed a person leaving a building near Porta Nolana at the corner of Vetriera Vecchia. Upon seeing them, the person quickly disposed of a bag by throwing it into the building's entrance hall.
The police, suspicious, checked the aforementioned person and found him in possession of 11 bags containing about 19 grams of marijuana, four packages with about nine grams of hashish, a precision scale, various drug packaging materials, and 500 euros in various denominations.
Furthermore, the officers retrieved the bag and found inside seven blocks and various pieces of hashish weighing a total of 705 grams, and another bag containing 57 grams of marijuana.
For these reasons, the suspect, a 32-year-old Tunisian with a police record, was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics.
