Drug Dealer Arrested in Public in Caserta

He was caught while, under the eyes of passers-by, he was handing a dose of hashish to a 40-year-old man. The Carabinieri of the operational and radiomobile nucleus of the Caserta company, during a check near the municipal villa of Largo Rotonda, in San Nicola la Strada and engaged in a territory control service, noticed the scene and intervened, blocking the pusher. The man, a 33-year-old of Gambian origin, after the personal search, was found in possession of 14 individually packaged hashish bars in cellophane films, for a total weight of about 40 grams. The found drug was seized. The buyer, stopped on the spot and identified, was reported to the Prefecture of Caserta for the administrative violation. The 33-year-old was taken to the barracks and arrested. He will have to answer for possession for the purpose of drug dealing. After the usual formalities, he was placed under house arrest.
