Early Diagnosis and Therapeutic Management of Skin Cancer: A Workshop in Avellino

Three work sessions dedicated to the early diagnosis and therapeutic management of skin cancers will take place tomorrow in Avellino, promoted by the Hospital Company 'San Giuseppe Moscati'. Melanoma is among the most common tumors in young adults and is one of the five most diagnosed skin neoplasms in recent years. The training event will also review the classification criteria for cutaneous form, the role of nuclear medicine, and the clinical case history on the surgical treatment of patients under the care of the Avellino hospital's multidisciplinary oncology group. The general manager, Renato Pizzuti, the medical director, Rosario Lanzetta, and the scientific head of the Dermatology and Dermosurgery operational unit, Giovanna Galdo, will discuss with the president of the Avellino Medical Association, Francesco Sellitto, and the president of the Italian Association for the Fight against Melanoma, Filomena Pennasilico.
