Early Morning Road Accident in Caserta: Firefighters Respond

This morning around 6:30, a team of firefighters from the Provincial Command of Caserta, coming from the Marcianise detachment, intervened on the Sannitica State Road, near the roundabout leading to the Caserta Sud motorway toll booth, for a road accident. Upon arriving immediately at the scene, the firefighters found a truck carrying perishable goods which, for reasons still to be ascertained, ended its course by going off the road and remaining with half of the vehicle in the middle of the roadway. The firefighters, after securing the heavy vehicle with the aid of a mobile crane from the Central Command headquarters, cleared the roadway allowing vehicular traffic, which was stopped during the rescue operations, to resume normal circulation.
