Easter Festivities See Intense Police Patrols in San Bartolomeo in Galdo

Easter festivities were particularly demanding for the carabinieri of the San Bartolomeo in Galdo company: a total of 42 patrols were engaged in a control activity aimed at preventing predatory crimes and ensuring the safety of road users. Specifically, 204 people were identified and 158 vehicles were checked. The military personnel issued 17 road traffic offenses, imposing the same number of administrative sanctions for a total amount of 9,007 euros. Administrative seizure was carried out for 2 vehicles that were circulating without the mandatory RCA insurance, and furthermore, 4 expired driving licenses were withdrawn, and vehicles not subjected to inspection were found; there were those who drove without a license or with a revoked license, without a seatbelt or using a cellphone: in total, 20 points were deducted from driving licenses.
