Eduwork: A New Training Hub for Welders and Industrial Installers by Fmts Group

A new training center named Eduwork has been inaugurated in Pontecagnano Faiano, at Via Leonardo da Vinci 15, as the new hub for welders and industrial installers by Fmts Group, focusing on job training. With an investment of 5 million euros and with over 300 companies connected to the initiative in the sectors of metal mechanics, industrial installations, and electronics, 5 laboratories and 3 classrooms for educational training have been created. The school will be able to host up to 80 trainees simultaneously, and the training courses will be organized over several annual editions. Students will have the opportunity to train in the professions of welding, electrician, and industrial installer. Thanks to the close relationship with companies distributed across the national territory, the placement rate guaranteed by the training courses is 100%. 'We work,' said the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, 'to have a permanent training center that provides stable employment to hundreds of people, that allows young people, who want to work, to train. Today, fortunately, we have moved from vocational training that was, unfortunately, only a place to do business, a market that was useless, to an educational system extremely attentive not only to the quality of the contents but also to the demand for professional figures required by the world of enterprises. Realities have emerged that offer courses related to electronics, digital, mechanics, and agri-food where we have a truly impressive demand for professionals. Indeed, especially in the province of Salerno, we have an extremely strong and qualified agro-industrial sector. This type of training gives great hope to young people to find stable employment at the end of the training course.'
