On Saturday 27th, the assembly of members of Legambiente Benevento held elections to assign social positions for the four-year period 2024-2028, confirming their trust in the previous executive team. Thus, the presidency of Antonio Basile is confirmed, with his vice being Alfredo Verga. Also part of the board will be Alessia Calandro, Luigi Marino, Paolo Mattera. A structure that, as explained, reconfirms the leaders of the association established in Benevento in February 2016 for the next term.
"To the board, to the members, to the supporters and to the sympathizers a heartfelt thanks for the commitment made voluntarily in a period of great economic and social difficulties - said Basile, fresh from reconfirmation as president - which violently affects especially the internal areas, but which should not be a pretext for abandoning the fruitful path of awareness and environmental education undertaken in Benevento".
