Embracing Artificial Intelligence: A Human-Centric Approach

“One should not fear artificial intelligence because its use and fate remain in the hands of humanity, especially if humanity can create an 'open' model of AI to understand how data is used”. This thought emerged from the lesson on 'The Evolution of AI' of the high-level political training course, promoted by the 'Res Publica - Sen. Mino Izzo' association, held in Sant'Agata de' Goti at the 'Ilario Roatta' auditorium of the Iis 'Alfonso Maria De' Liguori'. The lesson was delivered by the rector of Unisannio, Gerardo Canfora, who managed to capture the interest of the course participants and over a hundred students from the institute who will have to take their final exams this year. The lesson by the rector of Unisannio was preceded by greetings from the school head Maria Rosaria Icolaro, the president of the 'Res Publica' association, Pierpaolo Izzo, followed by the intervention of the IT expert Libero Petringa.
