Enhanced Security Measures at Napoli Frosinone Football Match

The local police of Naples, during the Napoli Frosinone football match at the Maradona Stadium, intensified the control of the stadium's outer perimeter in order to prevent and suppress the most widespread illicit activities and crimes during these events. The municipal officers issued 78 fines for traffic code violations and towed 44 vehicles, including 7 motorcycles for illegal parking, 2 of which were seized due to lack of insurance coverage. The officers were also engaged in combating the abusive phenomenon of illegal parking attendants operating in the area, especially during events such as the football match. Five parking attendants were identified, fined, and removed, four of whom were reported as repeat offenders. Finally, 6 violations of the Mayoral Ordinance, which prohibits the sale of beverages in glass containers near the stadium in conjunction with sporting events, were contested.
