An investigation has been opened on the disturbing episodes that occurred in the suburbs of Naples.
The investigations, coordinated by the Naples Prosecutor's Office and entrusted to the police, are aimed at identifying the perpetrators of the attempted robberies. Four people, hooded, arrived on two scooters, blocking traffic, and a couple of them stood in front of the entrance of the Eurobet betting center on Alberto Marghieri street in Barra. Then after attracting the attention of the people present they left.
The day after in the same betting center a man attempted a robbery and, failing only thanks to the promptness of the employee, tried to carry out the blow in another Eurobet center between Barra and Ponticelli, on Volpicella street, always owned by the Neapolitan entrepreneur. Between Sunday, February 4 and Monday, February 5, three disturbing episodes were recorded in the eastern suburbs of Naples, and all concerned the activities of the entrepreneur Gianni Forte, who last month organized a march of legality in Barra, which was attended by numerous representatives of institutions, such as Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, Deputy Prosecutor Pierpaolo Filippelli, associations and several local politicians.
On all the episodes the entrepreneur has reported and investigations are underway by the police. Also under examination are the images from the surveillance cameras. "Now my neighborhood has fallen into a climate of terror and so have I - declared Gianni Forte -. I appeal to the institutions, to local and national politics: even in Barra a 'Caivano decree' is needed, even in Barra to raise the bar of legality. Do not leave us alone".
