After posting on Facebook about the seizure of an illegal landfill in the so-called Land of Fires, one of the readers warns him to "be very careful". This is what Alessandro Cannavacciuolo, a historical environmental activist from Acerra, reported to the carabinieri, who in recent days posted on his Facebook profile the news of the seizure of an illegal special waste landfill, found on the outskirts of the city thanks to the report of anti-fire volunteers. A post, in which he also recalled the environmental disaster, but that did not only arouse the indignation of the citizens. «Alessandro, if I were you, I would be very careful. What if something happens to you?».
This is the message that prompted Cannavacciuolo to go to the carabinieri to ask to investigate what he considered to be yet another threat. «The message was published and then deleted - the activist recounted - but many users saw it and someone noticed it. But I had taken a screenshot, and so I reported it. Even the social profile of the person has disappeared».
«It is not the first time that I have been the target of threats - he explained - but to use as a means of intimidation a fake profile that for some years has been selling goods that escaped the seizure activity carried out by the judiciary, is the demonstration that the modus operandi of these eco-criminals has never stopped. The fear that these wretches can physically harm you can never be equated to the pain you feel when you see the people you love missing. And here beyond fear there is love for my land, that love that is the engine of my battles. That love that has always had great value, but does not have a price».
