Establishing the Territorial Section of the Quality Agricultural Work Network

A protocol for establishing the territorial section of the "Quality Agricultural Work Network": promoted by the provincial directorate of the INPS, it was signed today at the Prefecture by the same peripheral office of the government, the Territorial Labor Inspectorate, INAIL, ANCI, Confagricoltura, Coldiretti, CIA, CGIL, CISL, UIL, and the Bilateral Body for Craftsmanship. The "Network" at the national level, includes all agricultural companies that meet certain requirements, such as, among others, not having been convicted or administratively sanctioned for violations in labor and social legislation as well as in matters of income and value-added taxes, being up to date with the payment of contributions and applying the National Collective Bargaining Agreement. Among its objectives are promoting initiatives to support active labor policies, combating undeclared work and tax evasion. Prefect Carlo Torlontano expressed great appreciation for the initiative, highlighting the importance of protecting the legal economy in a sector that represents a driving force for the economy of Sannio. "The quality of the companies and products - he said - are a value to be protected, especially in territories, like that of Benevento, which are experiencing overall depopulation. The quality certification, in the agricultural sector, must represent a distinctive element for companies that meet the legal requirements and can promote the further development of Made in Italy."
