The commitment of the municipal councilor Italia Tagliafierro in the fight against gender violence does not stop at the red bench in via Napoli. In synergy with the Rise up association and its president Lucia Cerullo, indeed, a listening center will soon open in Maddaloni to help women victims of violence overcome their condition. "You are not alone," is the name we have chosen for the project that aims to be a concrete support for those women who live in a condition of physical or moral subjugation and from which they cannot free themselves - highlighted councilor Tagliafierro - we will make available to the community experts who anonymously and free of charge will help the victims of violence to find themselves again and to return to live. There is no love behind the mortifications, the slaps: violence is a prevarication that must no longer be allowed. With the bench, we have sent a strong signal of how an entire community is ready to stand against the oppressions and violence that occur in the workplace, in the family, and in the most diverse environments. With the listening center, we take a next step, that is, we provide the tool for the victims to free themselves from those chains that bind them to wrong and 'harmful' people for their existence. Councilor Tagliafierro highlighted how the process for opening the listening center has started and that in the coming weeks all the details will be provided to allow women to use this service.
