Extortion in Scafati: Demanding €2000 for Stolen Car's Return

He demanded two thousand euros from his victim to return the stolen car. This happened in Scafati, in the province of Salerno, where the local carabinieri executed a precautionary measure of house arrest in the municipality of residence, with the obligation to report to the judicial police, against a 48-year-old accused of extortion. The suspect allegedly threatened and forced the owner of the stolen vehicle to hand over two thousand euros to get it back. The measure was issued by the Gip of the Nocera Inferiore court.
