Fatal Encounter: Investigation Leads to Arrest in Salerno Murder Case

He was already unconscious, lying on the ground, on the sidewalk, when he received the two blows that led to his death: this is what emerges from the investigations of the state police of Salerno, culminating today in the issuance of a detention order for murder by the investigating office coordinated by prosecutor Giuseppe Borrelli. The suspect, Olegi Tchutchulashvili, is accused by the investigators of the murder of Pavle Shubiditze, who died at the height of a fight that broke out in Salerno on the late afternoon of last March 2. The motive is believed to be related to personal disagreements. Shubiditze was assisted by the 118 emergency medical technicians but the rush to the Ruggi hospital was in vain: the man died despite attempts to save him. Police officers and the prosecution have heard several eyewitnesses who confirmed the dynamics of the incident.
