The Carabinieri of the Arpino station in Casoria have arrested a 62-year-old father and his 25-year-old son for drug possession with intent to distribute, both with no prior criminal record.
During a home search at their residence on Via Nazionale delle Puglie, the military police found over 60 kilograms of narcotics.
Guided by the strong smell of "weed", the Carabinieri discovered a laundry room used as a storage area. In dozens of plastic bags were approximately 50 kilograms of marijuana, divided into 59 sealed packages. Additionally, there were 107 bars of hashish, some of which were hidden in a refrigerator.
Along with the drugs, they found materials for weighing and packaging the doses and a Bruni blank-firing gun without a red cap. The father and son were handcuffed and taken to jail, awaiting trial.
