Fear on the A16 Naples-Canosa Highway as Truck Bursts into Flames

Fear along the A16 Naples-Canosa highway for a group of workers coming from Rome and headed to Bari. The truck they were traveling on suddenly caught fire. It happened at Km. 66,600 in the direction of Canosa, in the territory of the municipality of Montemiletto. In a very short time, the flames completely enveloped the vehicle. The workers on board managed to get to safety just in time. Fortunately for them, there were no consequences, but the fright was considerable. It was the firefighters of the provincial command of Avellino who extinguished the blaze and secured the affected area. Traffic was disrupted.
