At the Federico II of Naples on Friday from 9 six hundred students at UniStem Day to talk about and represent Science. In the Ciliberto hall of Monte Sant'Angelo seminars, screenings, and speeches, but the real protagonists will be the students with their contributions.
The super network UniStem Day (http://www.unistem.it/) kicks off again, with an informative day that draws inspiration from stem cell research to engage with young people about scientific research and the importance of innovation, but also to involve them, inspire them, and entertain them. On the upcoming March 22, 97 universities and research centers around the world will simultaneously bring to life this day aimed at about 30,000 high school students.
In the program of the University of Naples Federico II, there will be brief seminars held by established researchers Chiara Zuccato, Geppino Falco, Giovanni Covone, screenings of videos, and discussions on social and cultural issues related to the Neapolitan territory.
But the true protagonists of the event will be the six hundred participating students from the Campania Schools, some of whom will perform on stage in "live sketches", drawing inspiration from scientific research. It is an immersive experience not only for the performers but also for the entire audience, which is always infected by the enthusiasm and creativity of the students.
The Neapolitan singer-songwriter Marco Capone will conclude the day, which will then be followed by a video made by the UniStem staff. The UniStem day at Federico II is organized by Marianna Crispino, Carla Perrone Capano, and Floriana Volpicelli.
