Follow the Sun: A Spring Day Celebration at Rama Beach Varcaturo

The password for accessing the first Sunday of spring at Rama Beach in Varcaturo will be #followthesun, and it could not be otherwise. Inspiring the event, scheduled for March 24th at the exclusive seaside venue entirely designed and built in Bali, was indeed the famous and eponymous song by Xavier Rudd. The day will kick off at 10 am with a long brunch, which will last until 4 pm, punctuated by an original sound set curated by Lunare Project. Following this, there will be an aperitif with a cocktail competition, which will see bartenders from Prime Napoli, Brusco Wine&Audio Room, Galleria Leone, Wine Club Aversa, and Redroom Spritziamo competing in a shaker battle, with a DJ set by MaLu. The highlight of the sensitive experience will, however, be Aarti or 'before night', a suggestive Hindu ritual celebrated at sunset by a monk accompanied by a group of musicians in colorful clothes. The ceremony will commence with the sound of a conch shell, followed by the lighting of incense sticks to be waved in elaborate swirls, and lanterns ready to illuminate the sky. All mixed with music, songs, hymns, and bells. The intense day will conclude with entertainment by Iwonoom&Soulhution and an additional DJ set.
