Forest Rangers Seize Untracked Sausages and Meat, Impose Fines at Butcher Shop

The forest rangers of Marcianise, at a butcher shop in Casaluce, found 37 kilograms of fresh sausage and locally produced stuffed meats that were not tracked, which were subjected to administrative seizure, in addition to imposing the expected administrative fine of 1,500 euros. Moreover, in the assisted counter service, they verified the commercialization of various fresh beef meats in the absence of labeling, for which infraction an administrative sanction of 4,000 euros was imposed. Finally, it was ascertained the use in the commercialization phase of shopping bags not meeting the required standards, and more precisely lacking any certification by accredited bodies attesting the presence of the minimum content of renewable raw material. Plastic bags that were subjected to administrative seizure and the owner was imposed another fine of 5,000 euros.
