Former Deputy Mayor of Avellino, Laura Nargi, Under Investigation for Criminal Association

Former Deputy Mayor of Avellino, Laura Nargi, is also under investigation for criminal association. As part of the inquiry that has involved the top management of the municipal administration, public officials, entrepreneurs, and professionals, this morning the Carabinieri and the Financial Police conducted searches in her residence in Avellino. Nargi had taken over the role of mayor for the last twenty days following the resignation of the first citizen, Gianluca Festa. As of yesterday, the municipality is under special administration.
