Former Mayor of Avellino Suspended by Journalists' Association Amidst Investigation

The president of the Campania Journalists' Order has temporarily suspended Gianluca Festa, former mayor of Avellino and listed in the register of journalists. Festa was arrested by the Carabinieri and placed under house arrest: he is involved in an investigation by the Avellino Prosecutor's Office on rigged municipal contracts.
