Forza Italia returns to attack the president of the Province, Nino Lombardi, following his response to the statements made by the deputy Francesco Rubano. Provincial councilors Vincenzo Fuschini and Anna Iachetta reiterate in a note their total agreement with the political line of the provincial secretary and condemn "any form of veiled pressure: the lawsuit in court is too often used as a tool to silence political debate".
The two members of the assembly of the Rocca also let it be known that they have sent to the protocol of the Province, via certified email, "a request for a pro veritate opinion to verify the non-existence of incompatibilities based on legislative decree no. 39/2013 of president Lombardi, who is still not on leave from his entity of belonging, with a request to forward such an instance also to the Anac. This request - they explain - aims to clarify any possible criticism that may constitute a prejudice to the Province with evident repercussions also on the good functioning of the entity".
And again from Forza Italia, this time from the provincial leader Mario Mirra, comes a direct thrust at the deputy mayor of the Municipality of Benevento Francesco De Pierro, who had entered the controversy with Lombardi. Words too "aligned" with mayor Clemente Mastella, according to Mirra, "in order to keep alive the hope or the promise of being his successor. A movie that repeats itself, whose protagonists have all had the same ending: Casamassa, Errico, Spina and many others". "De Pierro - continues the Forza Italia member - should make peace with his soul, a possible successor will always remain within the family nucleus and certainly will not be the winner of the next electoral round. It would be regrettable if through the 'divide and rule' or other tactics consumed on so many people, he was the latest sacrificial victim of those who design political strategies always deceiving the next".
