On Monday, February 19, starting at 10:00 am, the fourth edition of the «Federico Del Prete National Award» will be held in the Barons' Hall of the Maschio Angioino in Naples, dedicated to the memory of the trade unionist, innocent victim of the Camorra, killed on February 18, 2002 in Casal di Principe, organized by the Memoriae association, run by Gennaro Del Prete, son of Federico, creator, founder and president of the national award, and by the Pol.i.s foundation. of the Campania region, with the help of Free Campania and the Campanian coordination of the families of innocent victims of crime. The initiative is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and is supported by the Municipality of Naples.
On this occasion, the awardees will be Rosa Volpe, deputy prosecutor at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, Maria Vittoria Foschini, judge of the review section at the court of Naples, actor Giuseppe Zeno, interpreter of the fiction «Everything for my son», inspired by the story of Federico Del Prete, the association «Persud - The voices from within», for which the award will be collected by Giulia Russo, director of the prison center «Pasquale Mandato» of Secondigliano - Naples and Rossella Loprete, writer and social worker.
During the morning, the prefect of Naples, Michele Di Bari, Gaetano Manfredi, mayor of Naples, Tullio Morello, member of the Superior Council of the Judiciary, don Tonino Palmese, president of the Pol.i.s foundation. of the Campania region and Antonello Ardituro, prosecutor at the National Anti-Mafia Directorate will intervene. The event will be attended by the students of the scientific high school «Carlo Miranda» of Frattamaggiore with the head teacher Genevieve Abbate, of the scientific high school «E. G. Segrè» of San Cipriano d'Aversa with the head teacher Rosa La Storia and of the art high school of Naples with the head teacher Simona Sessa.
