Free Museum Entry on Significant National Days

Free admission to museums, archaeological parks, and state cultural sites, this year too, on three dates highly symbolic for our history such as April 25th, June 2nd, and November 4th, is not a formal choice but a substantial one because it intends to link our cultural heritage to important days for the Nation. Today we celebrate the Liberation Day from Nazism. For these three occasions, I strongly wanted the free opening of our museum sites so that visitors could enjoy our artistic beauties and also make culture a protagonist of such significant anniversaries. It was not like this before. This was declared by the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, commenting on the first available data of museum entries on this day of free opening.
