The terms for funding experimental projects on independent living and the inclusion of people with disabilities are now open. The announcement is made by the Councillor for Social Policies, Carmen Coppola, who explains: 'Adults between 18 and 64 years old, with severe disabilities certified under Law 104/92 and residents in the municipalities of Apollosa, Arpaise, Benevento, Ceppaloni and San Leucio del Sannio can apply. The experimental projects are aimed at personal care, domestic help, mobility, leisure time and all those actions that the person with disabilities cannot do alone or at the cost of considerable effort'.
The beneficiary, his family or his representative prepares the personalized project which will be evaluated by an evaluation commission established at the Office of the B1 Area Plan. The project can include three types of actions: personal assistant; social and relational inclusion; social transport.
