Georgian Man Arrested for Stealing Perfumes Using Foil-Lined Bag to Evade Anti-Theft Sensors

He used a shielded bag with aluminum sheets to evade the sensors of the anti-theft devices, installed in some of the perfumeries in the shopping center of Marcianise. This is how the 34-year-old Georgian, before being discovered by the security personnel of the shopping center, had already managed to take possession of over 900 euros of perfumes of various brands, moving away undisturbed from the perfumeries. However, his nervous and suspicious behavior betrayed him. The security staff called the carabinieri of the local Station who, immediately intervening, stopped the Georgian and found him, following a personal search, in possession of all the stolen goods still hidden in the shielded bag. The recovered perfumes were returned to the managers of the robbed commercial establishments. The man was reported in a state of freedom.
