Georgian National Arrested in Avellino on the Verge of Departing for Armenia

He was ready to embark from Bari to reach Armenia, but he was captured in Avellino by the police. The officers of the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters arrested a 39-year-old Georgian national, recipient of an arrest warrant issued by the Court of Florence. The arrest of the 39-year-old was carried out during the night, when the policemen proceeded to check the man, located near via Annarumma. From the investigations, it turned out the decree, issued against him for crimes of injury, theft, and robbery. It was also ascertained that the 39-year-old was about to embark at the port of Bari to reach Armenia, in order to complete a delivery on behalf of a foreign transport company he was employed by. Taken to the Police Headquarters, following the customary investigations, he was associated with the Avellino prison.
