Global Aesthetic Medicine Course Enrollment Opens for Medical and Dental Graduates

May 25th is the start date of the university update course in global aesthetic medicine, for which registrations are still open, aimed at graduates in Medicine and Dentistry. The course will consist of online lessons and practical in-person lessons with active participation of the students. The scientific director of the course is Professor Francesco D'Andrea, coordinated by Dr. Antonio Zaffiro and Dr. Mirella D'Andrea. The annual course, with a total commitment of 200 hours, is divided into theoretical and practical modules. The teaching will be structured in: an introductory day in person at the Federico II University of Naples; theoretical lessons on an online platform delivered in asynchronous mode, accompanied by teaching material provided by the teachers and protected by Copyrights; tutored practical activity carried out by the students on anatomical models; tutored practical activity carried out by the students on their own patients, with prior informed consent; a final examination that certifies the achievement of the proposed objectives at the University of Naples Federico II, with the issuance of diplomas with the university stamp. Attendance of the entire course, upon passing the final test, grants the acquisition of 50 ECM credits over the three-year period 2023-2025, and the obtaining of the final course certificate with the university stamp. Attendance of one or more modules, but not the entirety of the course, does not grant the acquisition of ECM credits nor the final course certificate; a certificate of attendance will be issued, to the students, who complete only one or more modules, relative to the module(s) attended.
