«Greek Naples. Discovering the Ancient City» (Intra Moenia) by Teresa Tauro represents a new and more accurate narrative on the origins of Neapolis.
The initial urban nucleus of the Greek colony - with its acropolis, the agora, walls, gates and roads - is returned to us as a model of ideal city for the world of the time. Philosophy, astronomy, geometry, arithmetic, all the ancient knowledge that contributed to its realization is carefully explained in the pages of the book.
A book that is also a guide to discovering Greek Naples: just follow the walk described and also narrated by a voice-over through the QR-Codes inserted in the second part of the text, to admire a «stone monument» unique in the world for preservation and integrity conditions.
