Gunshots Fired at a Building Entrance in Salerno

Six gunshots were fired overnight on Via Fratelli Bandiera, in the Sant'Eustachio district of Salerno. The bullets were directed at the entrance door of a building: 5 casings were found by the Scientific Police officers of the Salerno Police Headquarters. From the initial investigations carried out by the police officers of the Mobile Squad of Salerno, led by the deputy chief Gianni Di Palma, it has emerged that some individuals with criminal records live inside the building. The area, moreover, is strongly affected by the phenomenon of drug trafficking. Therefore, the investigators do not exclude the possibility that the episode may be related to the drug world. But the investigations are proceeding in all directions. There are no surveillance cameras in the area, so it will be necessary to examine the circuits present in the surrounding streets. From the initial findings, none of the residents would have heard the noise of the shots that were fired during the night.
