The camper of the 'Health Oasis' (Afmal project - Association of the Fatebenefratelli for the distant sick) reached Apice yesterday where orthopedic visits were carried out for osteoarticular prevention and the treatment of hip and knee pathology: 40 people were examined for free by Dr. Salvatore D'Auria, head of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the 'Fatebenefratelli' in Benevento.
The Afmal project aims to meet the urgent needs of a society increasingly in crisis and the initiatives of the 'Health Oasis' camper are gaining more and more adhesions because they relieve users from the burden of travel and care. The Afmal board of Benevento (composed of Roberta Zeppa, Fra Lorenzo Antonio Gamos, Maria Cusano, Giovanni Carozza, Antonio Cerulo) for the occasion collaborated effectively with the Apice administration, in particular with councilor Silvia Rosato, thanked 'for the reception, punctual organization and sensitivity shown in supporting the event'.
