Heart Health Screening Benefits Many in Guardia Sanframondi

The doctors in action were Giovanni Pigna (research doctor for lipid diseases), Antonio Renna (neurologist), and Marisa Rillo (endocrinologist) who performed thyroid ultrasounds on all patients who had already undergone carotid vessel ultrasound evaluations and cardiovascular risk stratification in the morning. The visits took place in the council hall of the Guardia Sanframondi town hall made available by the mayor Raffaele Di Lonardo. "It is especially important to intercept those who have never undergone similar examinations before," emphasized Dr. Rillo.
