Helmetless Motorcyclist Arrested After High-Speed Chase

During the patrol service, the agents of the general prevention and public rescue office noticed a man on a high-displacement motorcycle, without a helmet, in Piazza Vittoria. At the sight of them, the motorcyclist attempted to evade the check by quickly fleeing. This led to a long chase, during which the man performed a series of dangerous maneuvers for road traffic but, once in Via Raffaele Caravaglios, the agents caught up with him and after a struggle, they stopped him. The motorcyclist, a 27-year-old from Acerra with a police record, was arrested for insult, resistance to a Public Official, and injuries; he was also reported for driving without a license because it had already been previously withdrawn and the scooter was seized.
