Highway Robbery at A16 Naples-Canosa Toll Booth: Moroccan Man Arrested

The pattern was always the same: the man, taking advantage of the highway barrier installed for toll payment, threatened and assaulted the motorists stopped at the toll booth to make them hand over sums of money. On some occasions, he went as far as to harass the victims by showing his genitals. Thanks to the description provided by two complainants and the examination of images extracted from the surveillance systems, the officers of the Avellino Ovest and Avellino Highway Police identified the Moroccan citizen and arrested him after a short chase.
